Faculty who will be teaching courses in the summer or fall semester are encouraged to submit their course material adoptions as soon as possible.
When faculty submit a textbook adoption early, the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore has an opportunity to give students more money for their books during buyback, source, and hold more used books for resale, submit titles for rental eligibility consideration (if not already available), provide digital integration options, and ensure that all books will be in stock prior to the first day of class.
In addition, students will understand the full cost of course materials prior to registering for their class, thus allowing them to research pricing, shop around and potentially take advantage of the bookstore's Price Match Program.
