A new coffee shop has opened inside Morris Inn. Cafe J serves Peet’s Coffee drinks, nitro and cold brews, and handcrafted pastries from University Executive Pastry Chef Sinai Vespie, including spinach and feta croissants and bacon and cheddar scones. The cafe had a soft opening last week, before Junior Parents Weekend, and the South Bend Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Wednesday, Feb. 16.. Cafe J is located behind the Morris Inn front desk, across from the elevators. It is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. The full menu can be found here.
