Welcome to the 2018-19 academic year at the University of Notre Dame. As students prepare to begin classes, the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore would like to introduce them to the new streamlined way to select course materials through the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore.
In partnership with the Follett Higher Education Group, the Notre Dame Bookstore has launched an online tool called Discover Access, found through inside.nd.edu. Discover Access will allow students to view required course materials, compare costs, and access digital content for your classes. Students will notice that they will be able to Shop by Author for materials, online and in the store.
This is a change. In the past, materials in the store were organized alphabetically by course. Shop by Author will make the purchasing experience much quicker.
Step 1. Go to Discover Access through inside.nd.edu to get your Shop by Author list of books. Students can access their account on a smartphone while in the store or on a computer ahead of time (just bring a printout with you to the store).
Step 2: Either select materials in person at the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore or online.
Step 3 (online only): If you select materials online, it could take up to 24 hours for the purchase to go through. You will receive an email letting you know that your books are ready for you to pick-up at the Hammes Notre Dame Bookstore.
