Shannon Cullinan

execvp@nd.eduShannon Cullinan was elected executive vice president of the University of Notre Dame effective July 1, 2019, by the University’s Board of Trustees. In this role, Cullinan oversees the University’s $2.0 billion operating budget and leads the divisions that are responsible for operating the University, including University Operations, Events, and Safety; Facilities Design and Operations; Finance, Real Estate, and Treasury; Human Resources; the Office of Information Technology, the Investment Office; and Economic Development.
Previously, Cullinan served as the vice president for finance and associate vice president for university relations. He earned his master of business administration degree with highest honors from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Cullinan and his wife Sarah (ND ’95) have four children.

Megan Costigan
Senior Advisor to the Executive Vice President

mcostig2@nd.eduMegan Costigan serves as the Senior Advisor to the Executive Vice President. In this role, she is responsible for providing support to the Executive Vice President on a variety of projects and initiatives and managing the day-to-day operations of the office. She was previously the Senior Director for People Strategy and Culture in Human Resources where she led a team focused on tackling the most pressing strategic talent opportunities. In this role, she partnered with senior leaders to develop and deliver people strategies including talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Megan joined Notre Dame in the fall of 2019 as the embedded Senior Human Resources Consultant within Notre Dame Global, where she provided HR leadership across Notre Dame’s global network. Prior to Notre Dame, Megan built a successful career in Human Resources in Chicago with a breadth of experience including corporate and union manufacturing environments. Her most recent role was Senior Manager, HRBP at McCain Foods. Megan earned her B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame. She is also a graduate of the John-Affleck Graves High Performance Leadership Program.
Originally from Philadelphia, Megan lives in South Bend, loves to travel, and is known as a voracious reader.

Holly Happ

Holly.Happ.2@nd.eduHolly Happ has been with the University of Notre Dame since 2014, serving in her current role as Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President since June 2019.
Holly started her service with Notre Dame in Development, working closely with senior leadership, fundraisers, and benefactors on a variety of projects and strategic endeavors. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Holly enjoyed a career in radio and television advertising sales at WNDU before working with a local pizza franchisee in sales and marketing.
Holly graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a business degree in Management and Organizations. She and her husband, Don, live in South Bend and are the proud parents of two sons.

Jack Lyons
Communications and Project Specialist

jlyons3@nd.eduJack Lyons is the Communications and Project Specialist for the Office of the Executive Vice President. In this role, he assists with communications and other strategic priorities of the office.
Jack joined Notre Dame as an employee in 2022, beginning in the Center for Career Development before moving to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. Prior to working at the University, Jack covered the city of Burlington, Vt., as a journalist for VTDigger, Vermont's largest news organization.
Jack graduated from Notre Dame in 2021 with a degree in theology. He and his wife, Ella (ND '21), live in South Bend.
